Exhale is a great place for beginners to learn how to start in strength training! When I started 4 years ago I knew nothing about fitness and nutrition. Nancy is so knowledgable and patient. She helped me learn how to build muscle and improve my eating habits in the right way so that I have been able to maintain my results. Exhale has a very welcoming atomsphere, so no need to be afraid or intimidated about joining classes.

The 8-Week Lifestyle Challenge at Exhale Fitness could not have come at a better time, or with more amazing guidance from my amazing coach Nancy! I was tired of hating the way I looked in photos for years and decided it's time to do something about it, but I didn't want to do it alone. I'd never felt confident at the gym and needed someone to teach me what to do and how to do it, so I can build strength, lose fat and gain muscle. 6 weeks later, and wow, what a difference. I have learned so much!! It's nice to get accountability and coaching from someone as down to earth and easy to be "vulnerable with" as Nancy. While she's tough because she cares, I have never felt self-conscious or anything other than 100% supported, like having your own personal cheerleader who also happens to know a TON about resistance training, nutrition, supplements and gaining strength and health. So happy I did this!! I think this time, my new habits will STICK because Exhale Fitness encourages me to treat this like a lifestyle, not a diet. I'm finally liking what I see in the mirror, and I'm just getting started, baby!

Nancy is a fantastic coach - she pushes gently, understands life happens, and still holds folks accountable. The 8-week challenge has opened my eyes tremendously. For those who've never learned nutrition needs, Nany is a great teacher! Understanding the body and the needs of the body - and that it's not a 1-size-fits-all - is super eye-opening. TL; DR: she's amazing!
